Life At The Diplomat Hotel Is Never Boring

Olivia Newton-John was here recently, and sadly enough, she contacted hepatitis before she came to Florida. She did not discover it until after she arrived. so the Cowan family trotted down to Dr Ernest Sayfire to get gamma globulin shots. By the way, Olivia has recuperated and she looks and feel great - so much so she had a barbecue disco party celebrating the Fourth of July. Irv and I flew out to Malibu to attend.
It was a traditional red, white and blue party at her spacious home. The 150 guests were also asked to dress in those colors. The party was a dazzling one - twinkle lights were everywhere.
Guests discoed on the dance floor covering the pool. Olivia and her boyfriend Lee Kramer have come a long way from their native Australia. Guests included Rod Stewart and his Alana, who is expecting in a month. Others dancing were David Frost and Carol Lynley and enjoying the barbecue were Andy Gibb and Jeff Wald. It was a wonderful party and well worth flying out for to see Olivia her fun loving self again.
